QC Material Engineer
Location: Jamnagar, Gujarat
Experience: 10-15 years in site construction quality control

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced QC Material Engineer to oversee and ensure adherence to quality standards in material selection, testing, and construction processes for large-scale projects in Jamnagar. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in construction quality control, materials engineering, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Material Testing and Inspection:

   • Conduct detailed quality checks and material inspections at all project stages.

   • Develop and manage material testing protocols, ensuring compliance with IS codes and standards.

2. Quality Assurance:

   • Establish and maintain quality assurance procedures for construction activities.

   • Perform audits to verify adherence to approved quality plans and specifications.

3. Documentation:

   • Maintain records of test results, inspection reports, and certificates of compliance for all construction materials.

   • Prepare and present detailed quality control reports to stakeholders.

4. Team Coordination:

   • Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and vendors to resolve quality-related issues.

   • Provide technical guidance to the site team regarding material standards and quality expectations.

5. Compliance:

   • Ensure all materials and construction processes meet statutory and regulatory requirements.

   • Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance concerning quality compliance.

6. Risk Management:

   • Identify and mitigate risks related to material quality and construction practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields.

• 10-15 years of proven experience in site-based construction quality control.

• Expertise in material testing methodologies and construction standards (e.g., IS codes).

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in quality management tools and software.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Requirements:

• Familiarity with the construction industry in Jamnagar or similar regions is an advantage.

• Willingness to work on-site full-time.
