Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a subject matter expert guiding new business and growth strategy at the local and national level
• Research prospective accounts to identify the right customer stakeholders to sell to
• Independently and collaboratively strategize for solving deal-level challenges
• Develop and implement sales plans for accounts to support the Company in achieving profitable revenue growth
• Deepen existing business relationships by continuing to increase account satisfaction with follow up with service delivery and deliver ever improving customer service
• Successfully propose, negotiate, and close profitable revenue opportunities at existing and new customers by leveraging strong relationships with multiple layers in organizations
• Effectively communicate the account strategy to the Supply, Logistics and Customer Service teams, field sales organization and all relevant internal stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university with 5+ years of related experience or equivalent experience of education and experience.
• A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Sales and Sales Support within the Oil and Energy industry
• Strong Understanding of fuel pricing, market indices, COGS, and gross profit margins
• Ability to prospect, network, and foster business relationships for increased sales, and ability to cross sell other products and services
• Ability to draft price quotes and respond to RFQ’s for short turn-around
• Ability to develop bid strategy for maximum profitability while maintaining competitive edge
• Proficient in Salesforce.com or similar CRM application as way of working
• Ability to travel internationally as needed (Canada)
