Our client is a major player in energy services/ oil and gas industry and are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Calgary, AB. Reporting directly to the Director of Account Management, this position will focus on acquiring new customers, and developing relationships with potential customers within the environmental services division. You will be responsible for securing potential bid opportunities and supporting the preparation of proposals.

Key Job Duties:
• Develop business plans and win strategies to help ensure committed revenue growth
• Foster customer loyalty through continual communication
• Create action plans to access new markets
• Develop and implement corporate marketing plans
• Drive the growth and expansion of existing business with main accounts and targets
• Keep detailed knowledge of the company’s products and services

Key Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Business Development role in the Oil & Gas industry
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Business discipline or a technical degree related to environmental sciences
• A thorough knowledge of the oil and gas industry is preferred
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
