“TRS is delighted to be working for an award-winning Client who has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Control and Instrumentation Specialist / Supervisor with Petrochemical and Oil & Gas Industry experience for the Engen Mothballing Project based in DURBAN.”

SCOPE / DELIVERABLES:
• The project scope involves the detailed engineering and design activities for the mothballing of existing product tanks & associated instrumentation items at Engen site in Durban (Brownfields) and the required resource should preferably have extensive design and field engineering experience in Process Instrumentation.

The key C&I deliverables / activities includes:
• Conducting site surveys for data collection and scope verification
• Instrument Index
• Instrumentation input to Isolation, Mothballing and Preservation philosophies
• Input to P&ID development / Mark-ups
• Instrument location drawings updates
• Demolition Cable Block Diagrams
• Demolition Loop Drawings
• Instrumentation Data sheets updates
• C&I Scope of Work for Construction

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited 4 years’ bachelor’s degree preferably in related field or equivalent 15 years plus experience within Petrochemical and Oil & Gas Industry.
• Minimum 8-10 years of project-related Control Systems Engineering Experience within Oil and Gas Industry.
• Must have Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materials.
• Knowledge and Experience on InTools, and other Control Systems Engineering Systems
