“TRS is urgently looking for an Associate Civil Design Engineer within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Industry experience to join our client’s project team based in UMHLANGA, DURBAN.”

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS / JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supports the CSA Lead Engineer on assigned project in the execution of project tasks.
• Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures and global standards.
• Perform calculations for foundations, concrete and steel structures by hand and computer analysis.
• Review vendor equipment documentation within the discipline and from other discipline for compliance with project requirements.
• Demonstrated commitment to continued learning and education through participation in internal and/or external training opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to apply Chemical Engineering principles to the work process with working supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent Engineer-in-Training achievement status accomplished.
• Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Industry.
• ECSA Candidate Engineer registration (Advantage).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
