FUNCTION: SENIOR DIVE SYSTEM TECHNICIAN (ELECTRICAL)

"Our International Client is looking for a SENIOR DIVE SYSTEM TECHNICIAN (ELECTRICAL) with OFFSHORE experience, who will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and certification of dive equipment in underwater operation, to be based WORLDWIDE.”
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of various dive equipment, including surface supplied air, nitrox, mixed gas, and saturation systems.
- Ensure that all dive equipment meets certification standards and undergoes regular testing, maintenance, and calibration as required Class and IMCA D 018.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities to address equipment malfunctions or operational issues effectively.
- Possess a thorough understanding of permit-to-work procedures and other administrative routines on the worksite, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Adhere to the terms outlined in the letter of appointment, specifying the type of equipment, operation, and any limitations within which the individual may work. Follow guidelines regarding the designated vessel or worksite.
- Engage in the employer's competence assurance and assessment scheme, which includes participation in training plans, refresher training, and competence assessments. Stay updated on new equipment and worksites.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Accredited Tertiary Qualification.
- Extensive previous experience in the position of a Senior / Dive System Technician (Electrical).
- Offshore experience.
- Able to provide an IMCA logbook documenting the experience as Dive Technician / Senior Dive Technician.
- Professional communication in English (verbal and written).
