"Are you a Saudi ARAMCO CBT approved ELECTRICAL QC INSPECTOR? TRS has an opportunity for you to join our Client's various Offshore projects based WORLDWIDE.”
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Execute the field welding inspection, surveillance and Quality Control activities on site, collecting the relevant records.
- Ensure that all welding operations are executed in accordance with all relevant Codes and Standards and Subsidiaries procedures Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans.
- Issue the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send to QC Supervisor non-conformances reports.
- Check cable laying and cable identification.
- Check and test in accordance to the Inspection and Test Plan the installation for electrical equipment such as but not limited to: power transformers, switchboard, accumulator battery, sockets outlet, lighting system, etc.
- Perform visual inspections, dimensional test, check rating and material for connection.
- Perform tests of continuity, insulation resistance.
- Check installation of material.
- Perform functional tests.
- Perform test of cable connection.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
MANDATORY:
- Saudi ARAMCO CBT approval in Electrical and Instrumentation
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code/NFPA 70, IEC or equivalent standards, Industry Codes and Standards related to Intrinsically Safe Systems and Electrical Systems
- Minimum 5 years of Experience, in which minimum 3 years in Oil &Gas Industry
- Good spoken and written English B1.
