Geotechnical Engineer/Scientist

We’re seeking an Geotechnical Engineer/Scientist to join our client’s Calgary team. Our client is a major player in the environmental consulting industry with a strong presence all throughout Canada.

Responsibilities

• Offer technical assistance and leadership for projects and team members, including reviewing and performing technical analyses.
• Guide and support the coordination and preparation of cost estimates, tender submissions, technical documents, client and progress reports, project scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring projects meet deadlines and budgets.
• Build, develop, and maintain client relationships.
• Actively participate in fieldwork as required by project needs to meet client expectations and project goals.
• Oversee projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Define project scopes and assist in proposal preparation

Qualifications

• Post secondary degree in Civil or Geological Engineering, Engineering Geology, or Geoscience 
• Minimum of 8 years experience of relevant experience 
• Previous experience on pipelines and geohazards
• APEGA or EGBC membership 
• Valid Class 5 Drivers license
