You will enable timely delivery of EPC packages and systems delivery by coordinating activities between Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning activities performed by the EPC Contractor and vendors, while meeting safety and quality requirements with overall compliance with environmental regulations.
Responsibilities:
- The seamless execution of EPC activities.
- Risk management (assessment, identification of risk mitigation strategies and the development of fit for purpose solutions).
- Development of EPC Execution Plans (sequencing, prioritization, resourcing) to support the overall execution objectives of the project.
- Leading and managing key multi-discipline activities within PMT to direct the EPC contractor in the execution of various packages and systems to meet milestones and stay within budget.
- Leading the effort to develop execution plans for engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams.
- Driving the performance of the Contractor to deliver as per plans, making adjustments as required based on engineering KPIs.
- Conducting risk-based evaluation of complex technical issues that may have significant commercial impact to overall project execution, managing the timely delivery of technical deliverables and issuing resolution.
- Ensuring compliance with Company requirements, standards, specifications and instructions.
- Overseeing effective change management process, scope optimisation, defence against scope creep practices, identifying and sharing best practices and lessons learned. Ensures team document, justify and manage risks associated with design change.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering.
- Technical background as a discipline engineer and experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer.
- Extensive Oil & Gas industry experience, with a strong background in detailed engineering management of major Oil & Gas Projects, preferably experience on a major LNG project.
- Experience with an integrated LNG development involving multiple EPCs.
- Experience with risk assessment approach to decision making.
- Experience with Upstream sour service gas and LNG facilities.
