Job Description;
• Manages IT-based operations and services to meet IT requirements supporting short and long-term business needs. Maintains Information Technology strategies.
• Ensures the development and maintenance of business application systems are successfully integrated and operated within the company’s business environment
• Oversees the implementation of an assigned technology as well as the integration and performance of all local area networks for the organization
• Coordinates the use of internal technical support personnel and vendor support to ensure troubleshooting, maintenance, and an efficient end-user support
• Manages, motivates and assesses performance of a small team of IT professionals
• Evaluates relevance of vendors' products and services, often leading the evaluation process
• Assesses performance of the mainframe systems, identifying and evaluating the suitability of adjustments that will improve performance
• Supervises production of new systems software modules, and adaptation or re-configuration of existing system software products
• May personally develop systems software and implement changes to the software environment
• Provides technical support to operations staff and application developers during resolution of production problems
• Advises and assists on high level design of new applications or implementation of packages, to ensure effective operation within the systems environment
• Focuses on both hardware and software aspects of network operations across a multiple platform LAN/WAN configuration
• Monitors use, capacity, and performance of network systems
• Makes recommendations for changes and may implement agreed enhancements
• Ensures installation and implementation of new equipment/software as required
• Maintains effective security/backup and disaster recovery processes and systems
• Coordinates support, providing hands-on support where necessary
Qualifications
• BE / B. Tech In Computer Science / MCA / PGDCA / BCA / Software Engineer
