Client is looking for Instrumentation Designer
Industry: Petrochemical, EPC, Oil & Gas
Location: Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia
Requirements/Qualification:
- 10-15 years of experience
- Must have solid design experience and SmartPlant suite applications, SPF,SPI.
- Must have strong expertise in SmartPlant Instrumentation, as a user
- Should be skilled in MicroStation and Excel
- Able to handle drafting
- flexible and willing to handle drafting, documentation, coordination, typing, data handling, and publishing tasks. Occasionally, the role may require document scanning for extended periods.
- Proactive, intelligent, software savvy, good communicator, and a quick learner.
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
- Experience with Middle East projects
- Design EPC contractors experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop instrumentation systems for petrochemical projects, including control systems, process measurement, and automation equipment.
- Prepare detailed design documents, including instrumentation specifications, data sheets, and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in site surveys and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and technical solutions.
- Provide support during the installation, commissioning, and testing phases, ensuring all systems operate effectively and safely.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies and industry trends in instrumentation and control.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation issues during project execution.
