Intermediate Project Controls Cost Specialist

TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for an Intermediate Project Controls Cost Specialist role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
 

• Develop and implement cost control procedures and work processes.
• Provide cost analysis and updates to management as needed.
• Generate reconciliation reports for commitments and expenditures.
• Implement and manage the change control process, including reviewing and approving change logs.
• Convert project estimates into cost control baselines.
• Collaborate with the cost control team and report to the Cost Control Manager.
• Support cost control and change management activities for projects.
• Prepare and review cash flow forecasts and payment schedules.
• Develop and update project estimates to support change management.
• Update and analyze monthly project cost summaries.

Qualifications:
 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls, with at least 5 years on large-scale projects, preferably in the oil & gas or mining sectors.
• Proven leadership experience is an asset.
