TRS Staffing is searching for a Invoice Management Analyst in Houston, Texas.
JOB PURPOSE
Ensure Accounts Payable policies and procedures are adhered according to local legislation and company’s policies, providing financial, administrative, and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed by receiving payments, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices in an efficient, timely and accurate manner
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Run payment batches & control payment scheduling in order to ensure payment are processed timely, including management of down payment and credit memos
• Manage the full Accounts Payable cycle from receipt of invoices to posting, ensuring it is in compliance with Procurement to Pay policies
• Propose process improvement and engage on projects of related area
• Manage relationship with vendor, banks, auditors, and notary’s office for issue resolution related to payment, contributing to a better managing of the invoice receiving and payment processes
• Regularly engaged with financial reporting team and Tax Team to ensure smooth and timely closing, to meet the target of closing schedule
• Responsible for monthly accounts payable journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare metrics reporting and prepare payment forecast for cash flow purposes
• Receives, researches, and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons, assist in ad hoc activities according to manager’s request.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in ADM, Finance, Economy or Accounting)
• Must be fluent in English
• Spanish desirable
• Must have experience working with SAP – MM and FICO modules
• Advanced excel desirable
