Client is looking for Senior / Lead Electrical Design Engineer
Industry: Petrochemical
Location: Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia
Requirements/Qualification:
- Preferred BSc Electrical engineering
- 15 – 20 years’ experience in cost management for Mega projects
- Experience with Middle East projects
- Expert with Microsoft suit of tools
- Knowledge in electrical design tools
- 3D modeling software
- Combined Cycle Power Plant, PV Solar Power Plant, Critical infrastructure, and GIS Substation Projects as EPC and EPCM mode. FEED, PRE-FEED
- Expert in Electrical Primary Engineering and Low Voltage System.
Responsibilities:
• Perform complex system studies
• Develop area classifications and design documents
• Develop electrical design documents
• Perform electrical calculations such as short circuit, relay coordination, voltage drop, cable de-rating and cable pulling tension
• Prepare motor schematics and wiring diagrams
• Advanced knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD)systems/procedures
• Electrical power system software (e.g., Hexagon Smart® Electrical, Electrical Transient and Analysis Program (ETAP), SKM, etc.)
• Advanced understanding of Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems/procedures understanding of power systems
• Perform advanced design calculations (lighting, raceway sizing and wire sizing)
• Perform Advanced design calculations
