Marine Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with extensive experience in marine shipping industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising vessel-related technical, design and construction activities at Shipyard.
 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Oversee the technical team, lead projects, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic direction.
• Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, Marine Engineering or Master’s degree, Naval Architecture.
• Extensive experience in oil and/or gas transportation within an integrated shipping/oil/gas company, including at least 3 years of technical experience at a senior level. Previous supervisory experience required.
• Good understanding and knowledge of Safety, Health and Environmental Standards as they relate to the oil & gas industry and the marine environment.
• Strong marine technical and operational knowledge.
• Knowledge of gas/oil industry bodies, National and International maritime and shipping regulations is required.
