"TRS is urgently looking for a FPSO Motorman to join our International Client's project team Onboard of FPSO GIMBOA Vessel based Offshore ANGOLA."
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Contribute to a safe engineering watch in a manned engine-room or designated to perform duties in a periodically unmanned engine-room.
• Perform the marine engineering function at support level as indicated in regulation III/4 and/or III/5.
• Execute the assigned work tasks within the frame of own responsibilities and/or qualifications.
• Maintain safe working practices.
• Report to Engineer on watch, execute the assigned work tasks within the frame of own responsibilities.
• Assist with engine room operations and watch keeping.
• Carry out maintenance as directed by own STCW regulation.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma or equivalent technical qualification within related field of experience.
• Minimum Four (4) years’ Plus experience as a FPSO Motorman within the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Valid OPITO approved BOSIET or OSIET/HUET/THUET/FOET.
• Various professional and training certificates
• Work employment certificates
• Mandatory requirement STCW required certificates, National CoC Reg. III/1 and endorsement.
• Mandatory requirement completion of all training and certifications as described in Training Matrix:
o STCW Certificate of competency III/1
o STCW Personal survival techniques A-VI/1-1
o STCW Fire prevention and firefighting A-VI/1-2
o STCW Elementary first aid A-VI/1-3
o STCW Personal safety & social responsibilities A-VI/1-4
o STCW Proficiency in survival craft and rescue boat
o (other than fast rescue boat) A-VI/2-1
o STCW Advanced firefighting A-VI/3
o STCW Medical first aid A-VI/4-1
o STCW Security awareness1 A-VI/6-1
o STCW Seafarers with designated security duties A-VI/6-2
o STCW Ship security officer A-VI/5
o STCW Leadership & teamwork (engine) A-III/1 - A-III/2 – A-III/3
o STCW High voltage safety course – H851 A-III/1 - A-III/2
o OPITO H2S awareness course2
o OPITO Basic offshore safety & emergency training / FOET + OLF supplement
o DP3 K-Chief 700 system introduction step 1
o DP K-POS maintenance stage 1 course
