"TRS is looking for BOSIET certified Offshore Machinist with Drill Ship or Semi sub offshore experience with independent or major Oil and Gas companies to be based Worldwide for upcoming projects within the next six (6) months."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Execute work tasks by machining as directed by 2nd Engineer, Vessel Equipment Engineer and Welder Foreman.
- Operate machining tools such as lathes, milling machines, drilling tools, to produce custom objects from steel pieces, according to specified tolerances.
- Where available, operate computer numerical control machining according to his/her own capabilities.
- Execute repairs with regard to mechanical equipment used in the machine shops.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the machine shop.
- Perform regular maintenance on the machining tools according to the supplier specifications.
- Participate to the Tool box talks meetings and JSA (Job Safety Analysis) as required.
- Wear the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Report to the 2nd Engineer.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid OPITO approved BOSIET or OSIET/HUET/THUET/FOET
- Recognized and accredited 3 year Diploma or 4 year Bachelor Degree.
- 10 - 15 years recent proven or similar related working experience.
- Offshore Drillship/Semi Submersible experience required.
- Hold the Offshore Machinist certification.
- Knowledgeable in OSHA Regulations and ANSI standards in Machinist operations.
- Competent in deep-water operations and subsea equipment.
- Offshore COC.
- Sea Services Certificate.
