We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our client in Vancouver, BC! The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operations and leadership within a general contractor setting, with a strong focus on client relations, indigenous partnerships, and project management.
Responsibilities:

Engage with clients to understand their needs and build strong working relationships.

Collaborate with the CEO and clients in Vancouver to discuss equipment, materials, and complex project solutions.

Oversee large-scale projects (valued at $300-400 million annually) from inception to completion.

Develop and maintain partnerships with indigenous groups to secure resources and establish agreements for resource extraction and transportation.

Manage multi-year projects, master service agreements (MSAs), and roadbuilding initiatives.

Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.

20-30 years of experience in operations, with the ability to transition into a business development role, or 10+ years of leadership experience within a general contractor environment.

Proven track record in managing large-scale projects and complex solutions.

Strong knowledge of the construction industry, equipment, and materials.

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and indigenous groups.

Ability to travel as required to engage with clients and oversee projects.
