JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, execute or check the typical Piping and Layout studies including:
- 3D modelling.
- 3D model review with other disciplines and issue of clash check report.
- Construction or design drawings using 2D software or extracted from 3D for piping networks (overall plot plan, equipment layout drawings, piping general arrangement, piping isometrics and piping supports) - Bill of materials or materials take off.
- Extraction of bill of materials and other information from the 3D CAD model.
- Co-ordinate the work of his team with the Piping and Layout engineers of the project.
- Feed the Piping and Layout Department improvement system by reverting the lessons learned during the project.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Accredited Bachelor’s Degree /Diploma qualification.
- Minimum Five (5) years of experience.
- Knowledge of 3D CAD model and Piping and Layout construction drawings in accordance with technical, budget and schedule targets, under responsibility of the project Piping and Layout leader or piping engineers.
