JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and effectively manage planning and progress control system in order to support the Project Manager decision making process and allow him to complete project according to the internal and in compliance with the contractual dates and requirements.
- Ensure and deviation from plan is promptly spotted analyzed, final time impact is estimated, and the effect or corrective actions taken is monitored.
- Created a schedule awareness atmosphere among all project participants.
- Study and understand all relevant project documents pertaining to the preparation of plans and schedules.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of planning control structures in alignment with the approved project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Develop and maintain baseline project plans and schedules using Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Monitor and control planning activities through all phases of project lifecycle. Work with all relevant project and discipline personnel to maintain awareness of project activities, their status, and their impact on the project schedule and manpower requirements.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Accredited Degree/ Diploma qualification / equivalent technical within related field of experience.
- Minimum Eight (8) years Senior Planning Engineering level of experience within the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Must have previous SURF experience (subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines).
- Knowledge of one or more projects with scope a Subsea Development and should be aware of Engineering and Procurement Phases.
