The company is investing in the production of clean hydrogen fuel for the mobility sector to decarbonize heavy-duty vehicles. They are also the global leader in creating technology solutions for capturing CO2‚ from fossil fuel conversion before it reaches the atmosphere. Furthermore, the gases they produce and distribute are helping reduce food waste, are supplied to hospitals and are used in many other markets.
The job:
As a Process Controls SPI Specialist Engineer, you will be responsible for providing training, support and guidance to our SPI Users globally while working with Digital Technology and Business Application Owner to improve the tool and associated in-house add-ons through both work process and system enhancements.
Among many things, this may include:
- Advising Process Controls project teams on tool setup and usage strategies for their specific projects
- Providing informal and formal training and guidance to new users.
- Working with Job Aid Content Owners to develop and improve and communicate SPI related work processes to support new business and technology need for Instrument, Telecoms, Fire & Gas and DCS aspects.
In addition, as a Process Controls SPI Specialist Engineer you will be working on either a large project or multiple smaller projects which includes the usual Engineering activities of:
- Participation in P&ID development.
- Specification of process control equipment including control valves, relief valves, flow measurement devices, process instrumentation.
- Design, specification, configuration and testing of control and analytical systems.
Planned short term international travel for inspection, collaboration with our global teams and site visits will be encouraged.
Requested:
We are looking for self-motivated team players with
- A degree in Chemical Engineering or Control and Instrumentation Engineering or in an equivalent related subject
- Experience in the setup and use of Smart Instrumentation at a working and Administrator level – understand data flow and use within the Engineering & Design context.
- General experience of Instruments and Control Systems.
- Already eligible to live and work in The Netherlands (EU passport or valid Dutch work-permit).
