Progress Measurement and Reporting Expert

Responsibilities:

Monitoring:

• Continuously monitor actual construction progress against schedules for the complete project scope and duration.
• Monitor project progress against agreed baselines using project management tools.
• Review contractor project control procedures, progress measurement systems, and progress reporting formats.
• Track and monitor construction progress, including contractor deliverables and obligations.
• Track and manage interdependencies between various functions and teams to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
• Develop a process for performance monitoring and review of contractors.
• Define key performance indicators for contractors and monitor their achievement, notifying contractors immediately of any deviations and agreeing on action plans to address deviations.

Reporting:

• Issue periodic reports of project progress against agreed baselines.
• Prepare weekly progress reports regarding manpower and machinery deployment.
• Compile monthly progress reports with an overall summary and commentary on project status, including progress achieved, risks, issues, and schedule/cost variances.
• Develop dashboards for viewing real-time progress, with functionalities for issuing suitable alerts and flags.

• Strong analytical and monitoring skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and manage interdependencies.
