Our client operates multiple mines in a picturesque region of British Columbia. This opportunity is perfect for individuals who love natural beauty and wilderness, community spirit, outdoor lifestyle, and quality of life.

We are seeking a Project Administrator who is flexible to work full-time in one of their offices in Elk Valley, BC to support their team in fulfilling compliance obligations. This role involves managing administrative tasks related to budget oversight and facilitating communication between their team and an external technical working group.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and adhere to safety and environmental procedures.
  • Handle invoicing, accruals, forecasting, and planning.
  • Facilitate communication between Aquatic Sciences, Accounts Payable, and the Environmental Monitoring Committee (EMC).
  • Manage document flow, track action items, and schedule meetings for the EMC.
  • Support document formatting, scheduling, reviews, and SharePoint site management.
Requirements:
  • Proven administrative experience with a strong track record in supporting environmental projects.
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Project Management, Administration, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in budget management, including invoice approvals, accruals, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software is an asset.
  • Interest in environmental science and biology is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including AX, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
