TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Project Controls Manager role to work for an amazing EPCM client in Vancouver, BC. This position comes with a great opportunity to work on medium to large sized projects.
Salary Range: $130,000 - $200,000/year.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the project control team.
- Analyze and report on cost and schedule variances, proposing mitigation plans.
- Establish and maintain the project baseline in the project controls system.
- Manage the change management process.
- Develop and implement a project controls plan within the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
- Provide direction, coordination, and training to Project Controls specialists.
- Review Project Profit/Risk Analysis and provide status reports.
- Create cost, schedule, and commercial baselines.
- Oversee the implementation of Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures.
- Organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks, meeting critical deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Accredited four-year degree or equivalent in a relevant field, plus fifteen years of related experience. Alternatively, nineteen years of combined education and experience if without a degree. Additional qualifications may be required based on local regulations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Over ten years of experience in project controls, with five to ten years of experience on large projects, preferably in oil & gas or mining facilities.
- Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in effective communication with various audiences, including management, colleagues, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Necessary technical knowledge related to the job.
- Capability to learn and apply knowledge of relevant local, state/provincial, and federal/national laws and guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and effectively within time constraints.
