Location: Amsterdam Area, Netherlands (Home Office)
Project Location: Northern Sweden
Start Date: Immediate
End Date: Q1-2025
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Controls Specialist to join our client’s team in the Amsterdam area. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting a major construction project located in northern Sweden. This is a generalist role focused on improving the quality of deliverables in terms of timing, content, and overall project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any potential delays or issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
- Implement and maintain project control systems and procedures to enhance project efficiency and quality.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project risks.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, policies, and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates, monitoring expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Provide support in the development and implementation of project management best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project controls, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluency in English
