Project Director

TRS Staffing have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Director.

The role will see you be responsible for the managerial leadership and direction of Project execution strategic business initiatives and project management.q

Experience

• Manage development and execution of overall Project strategic business initiatives to achieve goals and objectives.
• Provide direction and support business development efforts in identification and vetting of prospective clients and projects. Responsible for business development activities aligning with business goals.
• Provide leadership to the Project team; direct and coordinate the Department ensuring efficient and cost-effective utilization of staff.
• Manage Projects related business development efforts.
• Oversee the development of department tools and work flows to increase efficiency in project execution for Department.
• Direct oversight and management of Projects budget and expenditure of funds.
• Achieve stated targets and standards for Projects financial performance.
• Support strategies for cross-selling engineering services across the organization.
• Responsible for ensuring alignment and support of Regional Office project management development, quality control and resource coordination..
• Responsible for conducting performance evaluation for selected department or direct reports.
• Responsible for interpreting policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to department personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related degree from an accredited program and 10 years relevant consulting experience, preferably in the engineering or construction industry or project management.
• Expert experience in client and business development.
• Expert experience in managing projects, which includes proposal development, contract negotiations, project planning, design team coordination & communication, budgeting, schedule management, and client coordination.
• Ability to influence, lead and manage.
