TRS is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity to work with a leading oil and gas technology licensor. Our client specializes in providing comprehensive solutions, including the conversion of oil and biomass into cleaner fuels, the production and purification of major petrochemical intermediates, chemical recycling of plastics, natural gas treatment, and carbon capture. Their diverse portfolio encompasses cutting-edge technologies, equipment, furnaces, modular units, catalysts, adsorbents, and related services.
As a Regional Sales Manager in the commercial team, you will be based at the Global Engineering Centre in Mumbai, India.
Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead sales and marketing efforts for equipment portfolio, including Process Heaters, Process Modules, and Revamps, within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, and Fertilizers sectors across India, the Middle East, and South Asia.
- Monitor upcoming projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers, and New Energy sectors, from FEED and EPC bidding to EPC award stages within the assigned territory.
- Promote client's decarbonization solutions to end users, generating new business opportunities.
- Establish and maintain early-stage contact with customers, offering solutions proactively. Conduct customer visits for Revamps and PFS solutions and develop new customer relationships.
- Map competition in terms of capabilities, track their wins and losses, and assess their execution performance with clients.
- Generate RFQs from various customers (EPCs/End Users) that align with HPS capabilities and competitiveness.
- Conduct customer visits and meetings and deliver presentations.
- Prepare technical and commercial bids.
- Negotiate commercial terms and secure orders.
- Achieve order booking targets as per the yearly budget, ensuring the required product mix.
Qualifications and Experience:
- B.E. / B.Tech. / M.E. / M.Tech. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, with experience in project sales within the Oil & Gas industry. An MBA is an added advantage.
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience, with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of equipment in the Oil & Gas, refining, and petrochemical industries, preferably Process Heaters and Process Modules.
- Experience in project sales of capital equipment.
- Strong commercial acumen and contract drafting skills for negotiating large contracts.
- Well-connected within the industry, particularly with senior management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
