Reverse Repair Engineer

Scope:
Re-Engineer parts of different turbomachinery equipment, issue meshes, models, detail drawings, part lists and mechanical calculation based on 3D scanning or customer drawings and ensures that all technical obligations are met and assist workshop for repair jobs with repair instructions for Omnicare equipment

Knowledge/Qualification:

• Modify and issue technical documents with regards to local requirements (drawings, part lists, specifications)
• Issue repair reports
• Definition of finding report and steps
• Definition of scope of repair work including disassembly, inspection and measurement, and reassembly protocols from scratch
• Documentation (quality protocols, manuals…)
• Apply local technical compliance
• Technical support local workshop
• Issue local repair instructions (aligned with Client standards)
• Preparation of 3D models, draft and detail drawings for parts and assemblies
• Ensure SAP data management and documentation for applied work scope (in case no SAP system available insure proper flow of information back to the PC)
• Support sales, workshop, purchasing and field service department for all design related questions
• Handling of non-conformity requests
• Strong alignment with Workshop Manager, Technical Sales consultant, Field Service Engineer on feasibility and solutions for Omnicare business in the respective Region
• Strong interaction with reverse engineers from other Regions, e.g. for keeping “state-of-the-art" technology

Work experience

• 5 + years of experience in similar position
• Hands on mentality and open for new solutions
• Knowledge of local technical standards and directives as well general industry standards like API
• UG NX 2/3D (Can be substituted with another CAD/CAM platform)
• CAD
• Knowledge of reverse engineering software
• Knowledge of 3D scanning
• SAP preferential
• Deep knowledge of turbomachinery
• Knowledge of pressure equipment and auxiliaries of machine
• Design calculations from 1^st principles through to detailed model/simulation basis
