Senior Civil Project Engineer

TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Project Engineer to join our clients team.

Our esteemed client is a global leader in delivering industrial services, primarily catering to sectors such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Power Generation, Process, Environment, and Construction.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000/year.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and municipal staff, documenting outcomes for project records.
• Track project progress and secure approvals for schedule or scope changes.
• Lead detailed engineering design and guide technical support staff to meet design objectives and approvals.
• Oversee contract administration and management.
• Assess the appropriateness of engineering requirements from municipal jurisdictions.
• Handle project management tasks, including budget tracking, invoicing, and accounts receivables.
• Resolve complex issues during design and construction phases.
• Meet project milestones in line with client and municipal deadlines.
• Manage assigned projects through the design approval process as the Engineer-of-Record.
• Mentor and evaluate junior staff, providing key technical expertise and support.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of local experience in designing land development or capital works projects.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the relevant province.
• Possesses a valid driver’s license.
• Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Demonstrates consistent accuracy and high-quality work.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
