TRS Staffing is seeking an SPI Designer who will be responsible for all SPI wiring for a contract role with a global EPC in Houston, TX.
General Job Requirement
- 5+ Years of Control Systems/Instrumentation experience
- 5+ Years of Past use of INtools, SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) or Smart Instrumentation
Must Haves:
- Knowledge of Instrumentation
- Proficient in SPI (InTools) loading instrument data to produce and generate strip reports and loops . They will interface with the client SPI Admin Coordinator
- Understanding of signal wiring (including Fire & Gas devices)
- Good communication skills
Other skills that would be helpful:
- Autocad
- Perform MTO's
- Ability to check discipline deliverables (cable schedule, instrument plans, index, etc)
- Knowledge of Emerson CHARMS
- Upstream experience
- 3D model reviewer (ie Navisworks)
