"TRS is urgently looking for a Vessel Equipment Engineer with Vertical Lay System Equipment, Pipeline, Heavy Lift experience, and Leading a team of the multiple people join our Client's Offshore project team Onboard JSD 6000 Vessel based WORLDWIDE.”
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Carry out maintenance and control of all the mechanical production equipment.
- Ensure the efficiency of the production equipment.
- Prepare the appropriate maintenance plans and associated spare parts.
- Manage the deck mechanic team in compliance with the Company safety and quality procedures.
- Manage the production equipment ensuring its continuous operation through ordinary/extraordinary maintenance and repairs.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Accredited Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma or equivalent technical qualification within related field of experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Vertical Lay System Equipment experience Onboard Construction Vessels and experience in managerial position.
- Experience with vertical lay system equipment.
- Experience offshore.
- Experience in leading a team of multiple people.
- Experience with instructing, directing and supervising the activities of Offshore Foreman.
- Experience with Hydraulic diagram reading and interpretation of complex systems.
- Experience with the maintenance of engineering system for record and predictive maintenance, material requisition issuer.
- Valid OPITO approved BOSIET or OSIET/HUET/THUET/FOET.
- Mandatory requirement STCW required certificates, National CoC Reg. III/1 and endorsement.
- Have experience as a Seaman and knowledge of Maritime rules and regulations.
- Good spoken and written English.
