Facilities Maintenance Lead

In this very exciting role, the qualified individual will support the project by managing the standardization of maintenance and installation techniques that are required in order to achieve cost reductions while maintaining levels of service. Some duties include coordinating labour to carry out construction activities in accordance with the IFC plans, schedule required work to contractors to meet priorities, and coordinate with other site construction groups to support work as required.

Job duties:
- Ensures project priorities for safety, cost, quality and schedule are accurately conveyed to the Site Services Management Team
- Coordinates with area authority for permitting requirements
- Provides input to proposals relative to constructability
- Evaluates the effectiveness of project constructability programs
- Updates project information and maintains project files tracking cost, schedule, and progress
- Reports daily activities, reviews and approves contractor daily reports and LEMS

Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in Civil Engineering Technologist/Technician or Journeyman Trade Certification and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8 years of practical experience coordinating field construction projects
- 3 years of experience managing subcontractors and being in a supervisory position
- Considerable experience in temporary facility installation, maintenance and removal, especially on construction project sites
