Mooring Engineer

Our client are leaders in Mooring Services in the Subsea industry with offices all over the world.

We are currently looking for a Mooring Engineer who will be responsible for producing deliverables including calculations, specifications, procedures related to mooring installation as required. This position will be based in Perth but predominately offshore on a a major project.

Role Specific Responsibilities:

Design Mooring systems and perform mooring analyses
Prepare as-built reports and deliverables to clients
Undertake quality assurance activities
Interface with clients, vendors and third-party contractors as required
Participate in HAZID/HAZOP/Risk assessment meetings as required.
Participate in offshore operations for an extended duration as required.
Required competencies/skills:

Degree qualified engineer or Naval Architecture
One to three years post graduate relevant offshore oil and gas experience
Knowledge of mooring analysis software (AQWA/Orcaflex)
Conversant with current offshore codes and specifications, and familiar with best-practice installation techniques which impact on the design
Offshore experience in planning, managing and executing installation phases of a project
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work internationally and offshore
