Project Controls Manager

Our client has recently won a PMO project with a large mining client with operations in the east and atlantic coasts. They have grown exponentially since the strategic partnership with another huge entity and has long-term plan of doubling their current staff and business by 2025.

They are currently managing the whole project from early study to execution to close out. A great advantage of working for this client is that they are a highly diversified business with projects within the infrastructure, institutional, energy, mining, commercial and light industrial sector.

They are currently growing their team and are seeking Project Controls Managers who have been involved with major capital projects (both local and international) to work either in the east or atlantic provinces.

Details:
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Economics or Business Management.
-Bilingual in English and French or English only.
-Strong leadership background in Project & Program Management with emphasis on Project Controls and Planning/Scheduling, Cost Engineering, Earned Value Management System in capital projects to meet critical project milestones.
-At least 12 years industry experience: EPC, Infrastructure, Energy, Mining, Oil & Gas, or Heavy Industry.
-Primavera P6 is a must including PRISM and SAP.
-Flexible to relocate or available to work on rotation (Fly In/Fly Out) either in eastern or atlantic provinces or uplift is available.
-They would also relocate people if candidates are open to moving to these provinces for the duration of the project.
