We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to work for our market-leading client who is looking for a Crane Driver on a Contract basis. You will form part of a multi discipline team that are expected to carry out various works to a high quality and safety standard.

Work Location: Offshore platform, Equatorial Guinea.

Due to current travel restrictions and local government visa regulations the role would ideally suit an American passport holder.

Experience:
Minimum of five years’ experience in a Senior Welding Inspector position

General Quality and Quality Auditing:
Shall be able to demonstrate previous Quality Auditing experience as Lead Auditor or as part of an Audit team – Internal or external
Quality standard ISO 9001 or API SPEC Q1 – Independent training certification preferable but not a requirement. In house training certification acceptable.
Shall be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge of the requirements of a QMS regarding content, structure, implementation and ongoing maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Senior Welding Inspector CSWIP Level 3.2.1 (RT Graph Interpretation) or equivalent per AWS CWI certification scheme
Working knowledge of WPS’s
Working knowledge of Welder Qualification and certification requirements
To support Welding Inspection certification. Extensive practical and theoretical knowledge of the core welding processes related to OIL & GAS Industry. Track record as a coded welder shop or field. Field/site welding and fabrication preferable. Welding/Fabrication of top side pressure piping and Ship Hull new build or repair is essential. Coordination of welding activities including temporary and standard repair welding, experience in a construction supervisory role preferable.

Industry Codes and Standards:
Shall be able to demonstrate good Code/Standard awareness.
For example - ASME IX, ASME V, ASME B31 series, ASME VIII, AWS D1.1 , API 570, NBIC or API510,
Quality standards - ISO 9001, API SPEC Q1

NDT Knowledge:
Shall be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the core NDT methods, their applications and limitations
Core Methods - DPI, RT, UT of welds, UTG
Note* NDT Qualifications are not a requirement for this role

Fabrication Inspection and Testing:
Shall be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the core fabrication inspection and testing requirements
Development of ITPs for site and shop fabrication
Dimensional verification – structure and pipe, Pressure Testing - Hydro-proof testing, leak testing
Weld Mapping, Construction Work Pack development

Materials:
MTR review.
Welding and Fabrication of ASME P Number 1 and P Number 8 as a basic minimum

Drawings:
Shall be fully conversant with the following.
Piping Isometric drawings, structural fabrication drawings, piping and structural GA’s, Skid Package GA’s, P&IDs
Shall have good experience of standard document control processes

Coating Inspection:
CSWIP BGAS Level II or NACE Level II Qualification is preferred but is not a requirement.
Shall be able to demonstrate a reasonable level of knowledge of the following core Coating Inspection activities: Atmospheric conditions measurement, Visual examination, DFT testing, Adhesion testing, Holiday testing.
