"TRS has an exciting opportunity for an Offshore Rig Mechanic with Drillship experience to join our leading International Client's project team Onboard SAIPEM 10000/Bahamas based Offshore Cairo, EGYPT."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• According with superior instructions, carry out daily maintenance and check of mechanical equipment ensuring full respect of operative safety rules.
• Be safety minded during in all works and behaviours, use compulsory protective equipment and ensure the same for subordinates ▪ Carry out own duties according to the Emergency Preparedness Action Plan.
• Ensure that before any maintenance activity is started, a proper risk evaluation is carried out, precautions are taken and the work permit is signed.
• Attend safety drills and meetings held on the rig.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited Diploma or equivalent technical qualification within related field of experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Offshore Rig Mechanic within the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Must have BOSIET / H2S Opito approved (Mandatory)
• Experience on a Drillship (Mandatory)
• Valid BOSIET/H2S
• Seaman’s book
• Various professional and training certificates
• Work employment certificates
• Must be vaccinated
