The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
Job Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development
- Develop and articulate a clear global commercial strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and vision.
- Identify market trends, opportunities, and threats and adjust the strategy accordingly.
- Present regular reports comparing actual sales versus budgeted sales; Recommend corrective actions if sales are underperforming.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performance Sales Teams of All Brands across all sales teams.
- Set clear Sales Targets and KPIs and conduct regular Performance Evaluations
- Collaborate with the marketing department to create and implement marketing campaigns that will drive brand awareness and product promotion.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing channels, Brokers, and Dealers across all brands, products, services to ensure consistency and quality,
- Explore new marketing opportunities and partnerships.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Deliveries
- Collaborate with Production and Logistics to oversee the timeliness of boat deliveries.
- Manage the commercial department's budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor financial performance and adjust strategies as needed to ensure profitability.
- Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Use market research to inform product development and business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Manage and create effective contracts, agreements, and warranties appropriate for specific region
Qualifications:
- Experience in business development or C suite Role,
- Extensive experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the boats and yachts industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the boat and yachts market and industry regulations
