Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified Legal Counsel to join our client’s team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a law degree from a leading university and at least 5 years of post-qualified experience. Prior in-house experience is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage legal risks and provide strategic legal guidance.
- Law degree from a leading university.
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience.
- Prior in-house experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the marine/energy segments is a distinctive advantage.
- Corporate and commercial transactional experience is also welcome.
- Strong command of English law (multi-jurisdictional experience is a plus).
- Impeccable command of the English language.
- Postgraduate qualifications in the UK/US are an advantage.
- Ability to speak other languages (French, Portuguese, or Spanish) is a plus.
