• To assist Superintendent for all welding and construction of new build rig. To be involved in creating work packs and planning of daily jobs and interfacing with all departments for completion of works. Apart from being well versed in the various welding processes, to provide on-site coordination for all phases of work, including planning of consumables, welders/ subcontractors’ allocation, and detailed scheduling as per project requirements. To ensure projects are completed safely, on time.
Education:
• Bachelor Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• IWE / EWE qualified.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in the English Language.
Experience:
• At least 9 - 12 years of experience in shipyard and preferably involved in offshore activities and/or rig building.
• Experienced in handling rig building and similar offshore related projects which are of high value and with technical complexities
