Our esteemed client is a global leader in delivering industrial services, primarily catering to sectors such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Power Generation, Process, Environment, and Construction.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Uphold and promote the ‘Safer Together’ approach on the project site, ensuring safety expectations are met and exceeded.
- Conduct thorough reviews of work plans and risk assessments, attending HSE meetings and ensuring all work aligns with safety expectations.
- Take responsibility for coordinating the Workface Planning (WFP) process, working closely with the planning team and construction superintendents.
- Develop and sequence Integrated Work Packages (IWPs), identifying constraints and setting daily and weekly production targets.
- Facilitate IWP Constraint Review sessions, coordinating and prioritizing IWP releases, and ensuring adherence to company requirements.
- Coordinate all interfaces between the company and other contractors, aiming for the highest levels of safety and productivity at the site.
- Review and communicate access requirements across the company and subcontractors, updating when access is no longer required to optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with all disciplines to define plant, equipment, material, and consumable requirements, coordinating with the material controls team for timely fulfillment.
- Ensure accurate and timely daily and weekly reports from the construction teams, enabling accurate reporting and informed decision-making.
- Develop strong customer relationships, promote effective teamwork among the company, owner, and other contractors at the site, and attend necessary progress meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing construction projects, particularly large-scale LNG and other oil & gas ventures.
- Successful completion of post-secondary education studies in a relevant field.
- Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience.
- Proficient in using advanced computer applications.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts and principles.
- Willingness and ability to travel and perform duties on-site.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident, or hold a valid work Visa.
