TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Project Scheduler role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Lead project meetings for team coordination.
  • Track progress and update plans for any changes to the project.
  • Ensure effective communication and resource management across teams.
  • Identify and manage project risks, communicating with contractors.
  • Create and manage project schedules, ensuring they align with overall timeline.
  • Address non-compliance and suggest process improvements.
  • Report project status to internal stakeholders regularly.
  • Work with EPC contractors to define project scope and resource needs.
  • Oversee contractor compliance with project requirements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to improve project management.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, business administration, or a similar field.
  • Minimum 15 years in major capital projects within the oil and gas sector.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
  • Skilled in using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, PRISM).
  • Proven ability to work with large, diverse teams and contractors in multicultural environments.
  • Significant experience in project planning, scheduling, and management, including working with EPC contractors.
  • Creative and strategic thinker, capable of managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
