TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our client’s team. Our client is a top commercial contractor known for delivering comprehensive design and construction services. This role involves leading successful project teams through effective teamwork and collaboration. The successful individual should have the capacity to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and trades is crucial for success in this role and is a key cultural requirement.

Responsibilities:

Partner with pre-construction teams to manage budgeting and initial planning stages.
Join project handover sessions from pre-construction.
Schedule and lead trade buyout meetings and kickoff meetings for trades.
Create the project execution plan and timeline, and allocate manpower and resources.
Examine the main contract with the client's representative.
Confirm subcontractors and finalize subcontract agreements.
Develop and oversee the project schedule, document control procedures, and quality assurance plan.
Monitor the project's productivity and performance.
Handle project accounting, issue purchase and change orders, and produce monthly financial and project reports, as well as regular updates.

Qualifications:

Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Construction Management or related discipline (equivalent of education and experience may be considered)
5+ years’ project management experience in commercial/industrial construction
PMP and Gold Seal certifications an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Procore, and relevant project management software.
Knowledge of construction process, drawings/blueprints, specifications, schedules, budgets and project management methodology
Competently manage the design and construction process from project start up to project closeout for small to mid size projects with varying complexities
