We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our client in Vancouver, BC! The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operations and leadership within a general contractor setting, with a strong focus on client relations, indigenous partnerships, and project management.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to understand their needs and build strong working relationships.

• Collaborate with the CEO and clients in Vancouver to discuss equipment, materials, and complex project solutions.

• Oversee large-scale projects (valued at $300-400 million annually) from inception to completion.

• Develop and maintain partnerships with indigenous groups to secure resources and establish agreements for resource extraction and transportation.

• Manage multi-year projects, master service agreements (MSAs), and roadbuilding initiatives.

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• 20-30 years of experience in operations, with the ability to transition into a business development role, or 10+ years of leadership experience within a general contractor environment.

• Proven track record in managing large-scale projects and complex solutions.

• Strong knowledge of the construction industry, equipment, and materials.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and indigenous groups.

• Ability to travel as required to engage with clients and oversee projects.
