We are happy to present the role of a Senior Technologist with Architectural background located in Victoria, BC.

Our client that provides a full range of architectural, planning and interior design services is looking for reinforcement in their team. This firm is widely recognized for expertise in retail, residential, mixed-use, office and senior health-care projects. They are dedicated to high quality design, exceptional client service and the incorporation of sustainable design principles in their projects.

Responsibilities:

Lead the production of drawings through Revit models for various project types.
Manage priorities and meet tight deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously.
Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and municipal staff.
Mentor junior technologists.
Ensure detailing and sustainable design considerations are integrated into projects.
Navigate municipal approval processes.

Required Skills and Expertise:

Over 8 years of relevant experience in the Canadian architectural industry (BC experience is a plus), with expertise in building technology, including wood frame, multifamily residential, and commercial projects (office or retail).
Proven experience in leading the production of drawings through Revit models for various project types.
Advanced skills in Revit and high proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
Strong detailing skills and a solid understanding of sustainable design considerations.
In-depth knowledge of the BC Building Code Part 3 and Part 9, and ASHRAE 90.1 (knowledge of NECB is an asset).
